The most recent I've seen is by Sarah Needleman on CareerJournal.com (here), who writes about finding recruiters whose focus matches yours. She also includes some good ideas for networking. And as long as we're talking about recruiters, earlier this year I posted a story (here) by Scott Krady on developing effective relationships with recruiters once you've found them. Though it was written for people on Wall Street, a lot of its tips can applied in the accounting world.
