According to an Aberdeen Group study, ERP is indeed working quite well for small manufacturers - defined as companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue. Still, a fairly large number of such organizations have not yet implemented ERP, and many small businesses with systems in place should be considering upgrades.Most of the article is technical background, but it plants seeds you may not have considered if you're looking for a new career path.
